A string of stones is captured by playing into string's last liberty. In the diagram white stones (A) are captured when black plays into B. A stone string consists all the stones connected by lines. A string does not connect diagonally.
Una cadena de pedres es captura jugant a la úúltima llibertat de la cadena. Al diagrama les pedres blanques (A) seran capturades quan negre jugui a B. Una cadena consisteix en un grup de pedres connectades per líínies. No hi ha connexióó en diagonal.

One of the players takes black "stones" and the other player takes white "stones". The board is a grid of 9 by 9 lines.
The game starts with 4 stones are on the board as shown in the diagram.
Black player starts the game. Each player plays a single stone of their own color. A player can play to any empty intersection. A player may not pass. Once the stone is played it is never moved to another intersection.
Un jugador porta les "pedres" negres i l'altre les blanques. El tauler éés una quadríícula de 9x9 líínies.
La partida començça amb 4 pedres al tauler tal i com mostra el diagrama.
Negre començça. Una jugada consisteix en col·locar una pedra del color que toqui en una interseccióó buida. No es pot passar. Un cop la pedra s'ha jugat, no es pot bellugar cap a un altre banda.

Capture 3 stones has an additional rule: A player may not play a stone so that it creates a past board position. So repetition of full-board position is not allowed.

White may not capture black immediately after black capture, as this would produce the same whole board position as before black move. So white must play somewhere else. After this white may capture from A.
Blanc no pot capturar immediatament despréés de que negre capturi, degut a que aixòò reproduïïria la mateixa posicióó en el tauler, entrant en un bucle. Per tant blanc ha de jugar en algun altre lloc. Despréés blanc ja podràà capturar en A.

A repetition of an exact previous position is forbidden. Other rules are similar to Capture Go.

Hactar can play both go and capture go. Capture go is easier game for the computer, so Hactar can play it against you without a server.
Hactar plays go using a server, this way Hactar has decent strength in go (Note: Hactar Lite plays at beginner level.)
