Hactar can play both go and capture go. Capture go is easier game for the computer, so Hactar can play it against you without a server.
Hactar plays go using a server, this way Hactar has decent strength in go (Note: Hactar Lite plays at beginner level.)

Wielkość terytoriów jest pokazana na planszy. Białe otrzymały 6.5 punktu rekompensaty (komi). Czarne zbiły 4 kamienie a dwa inne kamienie na planszy są także złapane. Białe zbiły 2 czarne kamienie (nie są one widoczne na rysunku).
Czarne mają 19 punktów.
Białe maja 20.5 punkta.

The game starts from an empty board, and black plays the first stone. The goal is to surround empty territory and capture opponents stones. Game ends when both players pass.
Stones can be captured in the same way as in capture-go. Repetition of same board position is forbidden similarly to capture 3 game.
Grę rozpoczynają czarne kładąc kamień na planszy. Celem gry jest otocznie pustego terytorium i wzięcie do niewoli jak największej ilości kamieni. Gra kończy się gdy gracze kolejno spasują.
Kamienie są zbijane w ten sam sposób jak w grze Atari-Go.
Powtarzanie sytuacji na planszy - podobnie jak w Złap 3 - jest zakazane (ko).
