The game starts with 4 stones are on the board as shown in the diagram.
Black player starts the game. Each player plays a single stone of their own color. A player can play to any empty intersection. A player may not pass. Once the stone is played it is never moved to another intersection.
Das Spiel beginnt mit 4 Steinen auf dem Spielfeld, wie in der Abbildung gezeigt. Der schwarze Spieler beginnt das Spiel. Jeder Spieler legt einen Stein seiner eigenen Farbe. Ein Spieler kann auf jeden leeren Schnittpunkt setzen. Ein Spieler darf nicht passen. Sobald der Stein gesetzt ist, wird er nie mehr zu einem anderen Schnittpunkt verschoben.
