One of the players takes black "stones" and the other player takes white "stones". The board is a grid of 9 by 9 lines. The game starts with 4 stones are on the board as shown in the diagram.
Black player starts the game. Each player plays a single stone of their own color. A player can play to any empty intersection. A player may not pass. Once the stone is played it is never moved to another intersection.
L'altro giocatore prende le "pietre" nere e l'altro prende le "pietre" bianche. La tavola è una griglia di 9x9 righe. Il gioco inizia con 4 pietre sulla tavola nella posizione del diagramma.
Il giocatore nero inizia la partita. I giocatori giocano una singola pietra del loro colore. Si può giocare su ogni intersezione vuota. I giocatori non possono passare il turno. Una volta che una pietra è giocata non si può mai muovere su un'altra intersezione.
