The game starts from an empty board, and black plays the first stone. The goal is to surround empty territory and capture opponents stones. Game ends when both players pass.
Stones can be captured in the same way as in capture-go.
Repetition of same board position is forbidden similarly to capture 3 game.
對局從空棋盤開始，黑方先下。 目標是儘可能圍出更多的空地以及提吃對方更多的棋子。當對弈雙方都虚手時，對局結束。
棋子可以按照在 提子 一課中的方法提吃。

In an even game white gets 6.5 extra points to compensate black's right to start the game.
If black player is less skilled than white, a handicap can be used to make the game interesting. Black player may get 2 to 9 handicap stones at the start of the game. In a handicap game white gets 0.5 extra points (komi).
在分先對局的結果中，黑方要貼還白方6.5目，以彌補白方在開局時因黑方先下產生的優勢。
如果黑方的棋力低於白方，透過讓子的方法可以稍微彌補棋力的不足並讓對局的過程更有趣。依棋力的強弱，黑方在開局時可以在棋盤上先放置 2～9 個黑子。在讓子對局，白方可以額外獲得 0.5目的貼目。
